Meeting are at Rush Henrietta CSD's Operation Center unless noted otherwise

September 29th - Michele Levings from Queststar III BOCES will present information on State Aid relating to pupil transportation.

October 20th - Officer Moses Robinson will share information on Youth Engagement. Join us to learn about changes with our passengers. (Meeting time: 10:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)

November 17th - Cracker Barrel with a panel of experts will discuss hot topics in the Pupil Transportation industry. (Location: East Irondequoit CSD from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)

December 15th - Mental health challeges are affecting many of our students. Come to this session to learn about supports available to transportation professionals in your schools and community. Meeting is Cancelled due to weather. We will reschedule.

January 19th - Deserie Richmond, Director of Special Education from Spencerport CSD will discuss IEP 101 -Students with Special Needs.

February 21st - Dr. Fabienne Bain who specializes in Pediatriac Behavioral and Wellness will present timely information on students in crisis. The discussion will focus on tools school bus drivers and attendants can use to deal with students in crisis on our school buses. This class should help transportation staff better read students who may be on the verge of going into crisis and deescalate the situation. Bring your trainers and office staff for this Train the Trainer Day over the Mid-winter Recess!

March 23rd - A representative from the NYS Employees Retirement System (ERS) will be on hand to discuss ERS planning and current plans for school district employees.

April 13th - To Be Determined

May 18th - Matthew Helmbold, Transportation Supervisor from Gates Chili CSD will share the pros and cons of three-point seat belts on school buses. Gates Chili CSD is currently running a pilot on three-point seat belts and Matt will let us know what this has meant for the school district and their passengers. (Location: Rohrbach's on Buffalo Road from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
